Meet the Founder
Hi! I'm Asha Federico, and I was born with bilateral hearing loss. After being identified through the newborn hearing screening, I received my first pair of hearing aids at just three months old. Now a sophomore at UC Berkeley, I spend my time playing the piano, skiing, writing, and handcrafting the hearing aid charms you'll find here at Superhear-os.
Growing up, I couldn't pronounce "hearing aids." Instead, I called them my "heroes." What began as a childhood mispronunciation has become the heart of this brand. To me, hearing aids have always been everyday heroes—quietly helping me connect with the people, places, and moments I love.
I founded Superhear-os in 2020 with a simple mission: to redefine the way we see hearing technology. Rather than something to hide, I believe hearing aids deserve to be celebrated. Every charm is handcrafted to add a little color, confidence, and personality to the devices that do so much for us.
